A rear extensions to an existing building. The client wanted to create a better working home which included a fourth bedroom, rumpus room and better connection between living spaces and the backyard within minimal demolition to the existing. This was achieved by shifted living, dining and kitchen to the rear which extended the existing house. The proposed addition was designed to delineate between the existing building through a contrasting modern material pallet. The extension aimed to minimise visual impact from the street; only revealing itself with a new entrance protrusion to the middle of the house.
